Fund that specific thing they need.
Directed giving · no cash · receipt-verifiedPerchLight lets you cover an exact item — at an exact store — for a real person. No cash changes hands. A one-time credit card, targeted to that specific item, and they send back a receipt. Help that's personal and accountable.
One platform, many neighbors
Anyone can ask for specific things that they need. Anyone can fund them — and know exactly where the money went.

School Teacher
Stock a classroom. A teacher lists needed supplies from a specific store; parents fund the cart.

Sub for Santa
Help provide Christmas for someone in need this year. Charity organizations request the specific items needed; sponsors fund the purchase.

College Student
Cover the essentials. Textbooks, groceries, a winter coat to keep them going.

Neighbor in Need
Help people in your own neighborhood who need it. A neighbor can post a specific need — diapers, groceries, etc. Your help can stay anonymous.
How it works
Someone posts a request
Specific items from a specific store — a cart with a clear price.
Sponsors fund it
The exact amount is covered. PerchLight creates a one-time Temporary Credit Card, locked to that store.
Items are purchased and verified
They purchase the item and upload a receipt. The card expires. No cash ever changes hands.
Why people trust PerchLight
Directed, not cash
Funds can only be used at the chosen vendor for the amount funded.
Locked & temporary
The card works once, for about a week, then expires.
Receipt-verified
A receipt confirms the purchase actually happened.
Private & dignified
Recipients can stay anonymous to sponsors. No one is a "charity case."
Why we built it
PerchLight began with a hard problem: how do you help someone in real need get real help — without just handing over cash? The tools that solve that turn out to serve everyone — teachers, students, families, neighbors. Same rails, one purpose: true support that provides exactly what is needed, where it is needed, with some accountability.
Help one real person, right now.
